My mind is even more blown than it was by last week's episode, A week ago I wouldn't have believed that was possible.
Last saturday my dad and I watched the episode a second time, even managing to get my stepmum to watch it with us ( that's only something like the second episode we've gotten her to watch this series - she's not impressed though).
I can't rewatch this episode because I'm at my mum's house. I got really into the episode, further proof that it was fantastic because mum was up to her usual trick of talking over it. It's not so bad at the beginning when she's all "that's Bernard Cribbins", but when it get's to the point where it looks like the Doctor and Rose are going to finally be reunited and she's saying something (no idea what now as I had more important things to worry about at the time), the desire to throttle her or shout at her "if I say 50 million times before the episode even starts that I don't want you to talk over it, it means I don't effing want you to talk over one of the most important scenes!" gets into ultimate red alert territory.
Anyway, no spoilers here, so I'll just say it was a zarking brilliant episode. Bring on next week, I say.

I feel I may as well repost this here.
I've recently read my first H.G. Wells book, The Time Machine. I picked up a copy of the book in my college library and read it at every available moment between lessons, homework and last minute revision. I've borrowed the 1960 film from college as well. We're allowed to borrow up to two DVDs free for a week, which is better than borrowing them from a video shop or outside library which can be two quid a time!
So, imagine my geeky delight when the time machine appeared in Thursday's episode of the Big Bang Theory:

I also googled it to find a decent picture of the time machine and found a good photo of a model on in a rather interesting article:
